ALETTO ILARIA
(syllabus)
The course aims at the consolidation of knowledge and skills of the A2 level and the acquisition of the skills of the B1 level (written and oral comprehension) required by the CEFR (2018, Italian version: https://rm.coe.int/quadro- common-european-reference-for-languages-learning-inseg / 1680a52d52, level corresponding in Russian to ТРКИ-TORFL I / СТИП B1). Through the proposal of activities aimed at the development of skills and strategies of written and oral reception, production, interaction and mediation, at the end of the 2 A and 2 B courses the student will be able to: master the main grammatical structures, vocabulary and the syntax of Russian required by level B1; achieve phonological and spelling competence in line with the same level; understand general and more detailed information on everyday and factual topics; produce simple and coherent texts on topics that are familiar or of one's own interest; express and interact effectively and coherently in a series of situations typical of everyday life; expand their cultural and socio-linguistic knowledge of the Russian language. Theoretical principles and practical tools (bilingual and monolingual dictionaries, online resources) will be presented for a first methodological approach to the translation of texts relating to different stylistic fields (traditional and digital media, expository-informative, literary and audiovisual texts), with particular attention to the specificity of the structural systems of Italian and Russian. Reading and morphological and syntactic analysis of the texts in translation, also in laboratory mode, will enhance the students' operational knowledge on the main aspects of the Russian language and will encourage the development of a metalinguistic reflection. By adopting a comparative approach aimed at textual mediation, similar or divergent phenomena between the two languages will be highlighted as well as elements whose rendering is more complex in the interlingual and intercultural passage. The student will thus be able to translate simple texts and grasp essential information using basic lexicographic tools. For the assessment of knowledge, written and oral exercises and workshops will be carried out on the Moodle platform, where students will be involved in peer review and evaluation activities. The methods for defining responsibilities, managing and organizing the various phases of work will thus be strengthened and verified; students will have the opportunity to interact and deal with methodological approaches different from their own and to manage their responsibilities by working both individually and in a group.
