The course focuses on the role of method in civil law. Specifically, the program is divided into the following modules: (i) Method and disciplinary fields; (ii) Social order, constitutionalism and private law; (iii) Transactions and risk: private law and the market; (iv) Persons and organizations.

The course concernes the discipline of the Third Book of the Civil Code with particular regard to property and its development due to the impact of the constitution in the first place and supranational law lately, till the last evolution marked by the emergence of the phenomenon of the common goods.
