20110461 Activities: New financing tools for small enterprises: opportunities, risks and the role of financial education in Law LMG/01 POZZOLO ALBERTO FRANCO
(syllabus)
Technological and financial evolution is increasing the financing tools available for small and medium-sized enterprises. Financial companies with innovative business models are born, traditional intermediaries use and develop digital technologies that transform their products and operational processes, public policies aim to make market finance accessible also to SMEs. In this rapidly evolving scenario, many small businesses struggle to find their way and risk not being able to seize the opportunities offered or, worse, to make bad choices in choosing tools that are not suited to their needs. Adequate financial skills are an increasingly important requirement to ensure the success of even the smallest companies, and to foster their growth. This seminar discusses the opportunities and risks arising from the use of new financial instruments by smaller companies and the most effective ways to promote their knowledge among entrepreneurs.
