Lombard Southern Italy. Power and Society, in the Ninth and Tenth Centuries (part two). The course aims to analyze, with direct use of sources and historiography, the relationships between princely powers and society in the Lombard Southern Italy, from the principality of Arechi (774) to the tenth century: princes and aristocracy, economic bases of princely power, relations between city and territory.
