SEMINAR - COMMON PRINCIPLES OF ADMINISTRATIVE ACTION: ECHR AND CJEU ROLE'S
(objectives)
The seminar aims to illustrate the role of European courts in the context of the convergence and contamination process that has involved national administrative systems within the European context. Particular attention will be paid to the study of the jurisprudential elaboration of the common principles of administrative action, which represent one of the main vehicles of the gradual rapprochement between national administrative traditions. The methodology provides for the active participation of students, who will be involved in the research and discussion of different case laws, with the aim of learning to trace the orientation outlined in the jurisprudential decisions and understand its meaning in relation to the reference topic. The teaching materials, therefore, will consist of jurisprudential and normative sources and doctrinal comments. The evaluation will take place through a verification of the ability to find, analyze and understand the judgments of the courts, also taking into account the degree, quality and assiduity of participation in the lessons.
