The course is focused on Chinese lexicology and includes the following content:
- Chinese word's form: simple words, compounds, multiword expressions, idiomatic expressions;
- Chinese lessicon formation and innovation: neologisms and borrowings;
- the quantitative dimension of lexicon;
- the diamesic variation of lexicon;
- the diatopic variation of lexicon;
- corpus-based analysis of lexicon.
