Non fiction: about a genre's negation
The tension between reality and fiction has always characterized literary creation, however this phenomenon has recently undergone a sort of official consecration. Does the growing "hunger" for reality derive from a saturation of the fictional imaginary or, on the contrary, does it end up producing new forms of fiction based on the reworking of reality data? A similar question today affects a number of theoretical issues - social, cognitive, anthropological and political - first of all those concerning the delimitation between true, false and fictitious in the age of fake news. Through the analysis of some contemporary novels, the course focuses on the question.
