DI MATTEO ANGELA
(syllabus)
Through a diachronic and diatopic pathway, a study of the topos of the journey in Hispanic America is proposed, articulated in different literary declinations. From short stories to poetry, from theatre to novels, the course traces a real journey within different genres and geographies, in order to analyse the political, social and cultural implications that emerge from the selected texts concerning spatial explorations, exile, migration and contemporary violence.
