SEMINAR - DIGITAL SOCIETY AND SUSTAINABLE MOBILITY. ANALYSIS AND COMMUNICATION STRATEGIES
(objectives)
Today we live in a Digital Society, where information and communication technologies are pervasive in all sectors and for all people. In this context, it is becoming increasingly important to provide university students with the fundamental tools to develop their skills in the field of online communication. The seminar aims at illustrating the different actions that can produce an effective communication strategy, such as: positioning on search engines, dissemination of content on social media, digital pr and monitoring of results. In the second part of the seminar, these theories will be analyzed within a specific case study involving how the institutions communicate their decisions to the local community (citizens, businesses) about innovative measures concerning the transport and logistics sector, with particular reference to the PUMS (Sustainable Urban Mobility Plans). Finally, we will discuss the example of TRElab, Transport Research Laboratory, of the University of Rome. In particular, the communication activities that the laboratory is implementing in order to increase the value of its brand will be presented.
