Science and Technology from Antiquity to the 17th Century. The course is divided into two parts. The first one deals aims at providing basic knowledge of history of science and technology; the second part deals with applied mechanics and with the origins of classical mechanics.

Besides didactic materials to be provided during classes, students are requested to read three books from the bibliography
