Spanish Literature I (for students of LMLC and Others Courses of Study) Course leader: Sara Pezzini Credits: 6 Semester I
Description
The course intends to explore the origin, characteristics and evolution of the literary myth of Don Juan. Beginning with a close reading of the play attributed to Tirso de Molina, we will then proceed to a critical analysis of some canonic texts of the Spanish literature where the figure of Don Juan emerges as main topic. Texts of diverse literary genders and epochs will be studied.
