CATTARULLA CAMILLA
(syllabus)
In Western culture the term “Apocalypsis” derives from the sphere of sacred language and indicates the prophetic revelation of the end of the world. Today, however, the term is employed also to refer to catastrophic signs of the present, the fall and the end of history. In this twofold perspective the course examines the interrelationship between modernity and apocalypse in the interpretations of the Spanish-American context.
