Weak topologies, closed and convex sets, Banach-Alaoglu theorem, separability and reflexivity. Sobolev spaces in dimensione one, immersion theorems, Poincaré inequality, application to variational problems. Spectral theory, Fredholm alternative, spectral theorem for compact and self-adjoint operators, application to variational problems.
