Il corso si concentra sulla discussione, da una prospettiva multietnica e multiculturale, delle questioni storiche, sociali, politiche ed economiche derivanti dalla lettura della selezione letteraria. Speciale attenzione sarà rivolta all’analisi dei testi letterari al fine di comprenderne il rapporto intercorrente con la letteratura americana mainstream e l’identità nazionale degli Stati Uniti d’America.
