The course will be devoted to the history of the Legal fictions between Roman inheritance and Medieval innovations, and it will be divided into two sections:

1) Understanding of the concept of "Ius commune", with a specific attention to the founding moment of Ius Commune between the 12th and the 14th century.

2) History of Legal fictions, between Roman inheritance and Medieval innovations.

Students who will attend the lessons will be given reference literature during the course.
