SOCIAL GEOGRAPHY
(objectives)
To provide students with some basic conceptual references working in the development of the geographical discourse, both in terms of history of the ‘geographical thought’ and in terms of contemporary debate on shared paradigms and possible perspectives. A discussion among students – also through activities ‘seminar-like’ – about the applicability of the geographical reading to different experiential areas, as a fundamental interpretation of reality. The main subject will be the social construction of space and the spatial competition between social actors
