(syllabus)
Emotions: definition, biological and social functions, types of emotions. Emotion regulation, expression and communication. Primary emotions, image, cognitive, social, and moral emotions. Their role in interpersonal interaction, on the job, in learning and education, politics, art, music, entertainment. Definition of communication. Cognitive, affective, relational processes implied in communication in all of its modalities (words and sentences, prosody, gestures, facial expression, gaze, physical contact, posture, proxemics, music) and through face-to-face and technological media. Analysis and detection of sincere and deceptive, cooperative and aggressive communication, nad its uses in interpersonal interaction, work, education, politics, entertainment.
