A) Definition of epigraphy. B) Tools used by epigraphists: epigraphic collections (both paper and digital), repertories, and bibliographic guides. Understanding of epigraphists' technical codes. C) How to edit a Greek inscription. D) The history of writing in the Greek world. E) Reading some inscriptions to understand the archaic alphabets. F) Different epigraphic typologies. G) Analysis of selected inscriptions (reading, translation, dating, palaeographic commentary, historical and typological interpretation). H) Drafting an epigraphic work exercise.
