"The course has a specialized focus. It aims to present the western legal experience from XIIth until the end of XVIIIth century that has constituted the laboratory of ideas, categories and institutes pertaining to the European legal culture.
Focusing on specific topics and offering a direct contact with ancient texts, the course provides students with the understanding of the Ius commune, encourages student’s ability to read the legal sources and to use analytical tools, in order to identify the formation processes and development mechanisms of this legal reality."
