SOCIAL EDUCATION
(objectives)
The course aims to acquire knowledge about some conceptual nodes of social pedagogy (processes and training systems, educational emergencies, training and cultural needs, integrated training system, adult education, interculturality) through the use of different disciplinary approaches. The main currents and authors of twentieth-century pedagogical thought will be dealt with. The course will aim at framing the discipline in the context of the wider debate on the identity of pedagogical knowledge in relation to other disciplinary fields. The course also aims to acquire research and intervention skills in the field of pedagogical and social research. Examples will also be given of the construction of research tools in the socio-educational field. through exercises.
