Macroeconomics, inequality and development The course addresses a number of macroeconomic issues with a focus on development and growth, income distribution, institutions, and the growth-inequality-poverty nexus. The module will typically cover the following topics: • Introduction: principal macroeconomic issues of development • Economic growth: Growth models as tools for analyzing the macroeconomics of development • Geography, Culture and Institutions • Income distribution and Macroeconomics • Inequality, growth and welfare policy
