The objectives can be summarised as follows - to refine the ability to analyse the most relevant facts characterising the current socio-economic situation, together with the economic dynamics and the evolution of the labour market - to provide some interpretative tools for economic phenomena through knowledge of theories, quantitative analyses and the most recent institutional references, with particular attention to intervention policies in the field of labour economics and human resources; - through the in-depth study of some monographic themes, to develop interpretative and propositional skills regarding the role of institutions and collective actors in determining the implementation of employment and labour policies, and in the organisation of work in the public and private sectors. It is also intended, through the guided use of the websites of public and private institutions, newspapers and magazines, to encourage the acquisition of skills relating to the construction of documentary archives and databases aimed at searching for documentation, information and statistics on particular topics.
