(syllabus)
The course analyzes some experiences on the border between theater and dance, and between East and West. The European scene that finds the link between body and word is observed here from the point of view of Japanese performative avant-gardes. Subjects: Butō and the legacy of French literature and German dance, theatrical anthropology and the identification of the actor's / dancer's art principles in different cultures, action and expression in the mid-twentieth century dance, the word and the movement in Pina Bausch Tanztheater.
