(syllabus)
The course aims to:
- the analysis and interpretation of epigraphical texts pertinent to holders of prefecture of pretoria between I and V century;
- the historical contextualization of the carrers;
- hypothesis on the way the inscriptions were carried out and preserved.
The knowledge of basic Latin and of roman history are required. Stdents are recommendend. to attend the course more than occasionally.
