The course intends to rebuild the more relavant philosophical topics on the questions of truth in the medieval period. Following analitically some key assumptions enucleated by Augustine of Hippo and by Patristics tradition, the different philosophical lines that have characterized the Scholastic debate on metaphysics, ethics and politics will be studied in depth.
