- bibliographic and archival research (traditional methods, technological resources available and online databases), reliability of the resources available on the net; - standards in force in the art-historical studies in scientific publications (the form of publications, tools and programs available); - use of online databases with photos of artworks; - guidelines and tools for cataloging art and other materials relating to visual arts; - guidelines and tools to developing images and texts in scientific standards, for exercises in learning activities in art history, seminars and conferences (posters and oral presentation support); - guidelines and tools to developing dissemination planning tools, guidelines for museum communication; - web editing guidelines and tools.
Objectives The course aims at providing students with basic knowledge in the following areas: methods and standards for word processing, tools and programs for images editor and word processing in the art-historical studies for scientific publications and dissemination planning tools, cataloging art and other materials relating to visual arts.

Verranno forniti programmi, materiali e indicazioni bibliografiche di approfondimento durante il corso che si svolgerà martedì (ore 16-19) e venerdì (ore 16-18) in Aula Informatica Piccola – Via Ostiense 234 – piano terra - dal 26 ottobre al 14 dicembre 2018, secondo il seguente calendario: 26, 30 ottobre; 2, 6, 9, 13, 16, 20, 23, 27, 30 novembre; 4, 11, 14 dicembre 2018.
All information will be provided during the course that will take place from 26 October to 14 December 2018 (Tuesday 4pm-7pm and Friday 4pm-6pm) in Aula Informatica Piccola - Via Ostiense 234 - ground floor, with the following calendar: 26, 30 October; 2, 6, 9, 13, 16, 20, 23, 27, 30 November; 4, 11, 14 December 2018.
