(syllabus)
The aim of the course is to provide basic and advanced knowledge from a technical, legal, scientific and cultural point of view on environmental assessment tools, with particular reference to environmental impact assessment, strategic environmental assessment, and environmental incidence analysis. The program includes an extensive review of environmental reporting tools and indicators at regional, national and European levels. The knowledge acquired by the students, integrated with the contents of other classes offered by the degree course (cartographic techniques and GIS, statistics, applied ecology, ecosystem management, biodiversity) will train professionals and technicians of environmental monitoring and assessment.
