(syllabus)
P. P. Rubens and Anton van Dyck between Flanders, Italy and England (1600-1632). A journey among artists, agents and collectors.
The course will deal with an intense thirty years of artistic and collecting activity that sees the success of P. Rubens and later that of the pupil Anton van Dyck. Their stays in Italy and the relationships between European artists, agents and collectors will be the subject of particular attention.
