(syllabus)
The module introduces different models and methods in the field of educational empirical research. The course will explore the following topics: research design, research problem and objectives identification, definition of the theoretical framework, hypothesis definition, variable categorization; data collection, characteristics, phases and research tools of projects carried out in formal and informal education, innovative methods for heritage fruition within primary school teaching and learning, assessment and evaluation tools, enhancement of cross sectional competences, critical thinking skills in particular. Lecturing is interactive and students are to take formative project work assignments, both face to face and at a distance, on the devoted university e-platform.One unit of the teaching and learning path is devoted to the enhancement of critical thinking skills. The above assignments carried out face to face and online are intergral part of the programme and are necessary to be admitted to the final exam.
