ECCLESIASTICAL LAW
(objectives)
The course aims to provide the student:
A) Knowledge and understanding: 1) of the essential profiles of the dialectic religion-society and of the development of the relations between State and Church 2) of the legal framework of religious phenomenon in its various organizational dimensions: national and European; 3) of the basic legal instruments for the understanding of the different issues of religious freedom emerging in the current social context, multi-religious and multicultural, in particular in Italy. B) Applying knowledge and understanding: 1) to interpret religious phenomena in the light of national, European, in particular in Italy, on the subject of religious freedom (individual and collective); 2) to develop and frame legal institutions, requirements, and emerging cases that have religious-cultural connotations. C) Independent judgment in evaluating the institutes and other matter for study on the basis of the knowledge acquired D) learning skills necessary for continuous updates on the study topics.
