AIMS:
- Acquire basic knowledge on the origin and history of both the Slavonic language and literary culture, from the proto-slavonic Age to the beginning of Modern Age (with special attention to Costantino-Cirillo and Metodio's activity – and that of their pupils – from the mid IXth century to the start of the Xth century).
- Understand the development of modern Russian language and literature (and those of the akin Countries) focusing on the orthodox Slavonic century old tradition.
