Modern and contemporary Russian poetry (XIX-XXI century)
The course will address the following topics:
- Versification and metrics problems: from the age of Pushkin to the present day
- Unofficial poetry (20th century) and the relationship with tradition
- 21st century poetry: new voices and trends

Students will analyse and translate the following texts:

Attendance at the lessons is also strongly recommended for the seminar character of the meetings. Students who are unable to attend are kindly requested to contact the teachers at the beginning of the academic year. The lessons will be mainly in Russian.
