(syllabus)
The first part of the course aims to analyse the fondamental elements of professional journalism; the second, is dedicated to study the evolution of mass media industry from its origins to XXI century and its relationship with the mai political social and economical processes of the time; tha last part is focused on cinema as cultural, economical and political production of the modernity, with a straight attention to the realtionship between American cinema, politics and society in the years of nuclear scare (1945-1965).
