SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY FROM THE RENAISSANCE TO THE INDUSTRIAL REVOLUTION
THE COURSE IS DIVIDED INTO TWO PARTS. THE FIRST PROVIDES AN INTRODUCTION TO THE ORIGINS OF MODERN SCIENCE, THE SECOND DEALS WITH MECHANICS AND EXPERIMENTAL SCIENCE IN EUROPE (1600-1800).
