This course illustrates the main phonetic, phonological, morphological, syntactic and lexical-semantic features of contemporary English. It also trains students in the use of monolingual dictionaries.
Language improvement classes: reading, writing, listening and speaking activities leading to the required level.
Achievement of B1 level in both receptive and productive skills.
Development of students’: a) basic knowledge and understanding of the main features of the foreign language; b) ability to apply acquired knowledge to short texts from different text types; c) ability to understand and communicate information.
