The aim of this course is to provide students, in a synthetic manner and basic, a good knowledge of all aspects of the application of the Naval Architecture in the context of the design and to introduce students to the concept of environmental compatibility of product boat. The complexity of'naval architecture and the interdependence with numerous other disciplines makes this matter one of the sectors most fruitful of design research under a variety of aspects: one relating to the shape and the performance than those relating to technology and construction. Moreover the interdisciplinary nature of the matter, will allow students to acquire the capacity for processing and control of the project in multidisciplinary areas and innovative research developing, in class during a workshop of design, a nautical project to present to the final examination.
