The course aims to provide students with competences and a theoretical-methodological knowledge in the field of didactics of languages, in order to develop a critical approach to teaching foreign or second languages. It deals with the most important theoretical hypotheses, approaches and methods on language learning, over the years.
The course offers an in-depth analysis of the key themes in the teaching Italian as Second language and an overview recent trends in linguistic education with particular reference to linguistic education in a pluringual perspective and to intecomprehension.
