CANTA CARMELINA
(syllabus)
The focus of the course is to analyse the religious phenomenon in the context of a secular, lay and globalised society in the light of the most recent sociological theories and empirical research, the social change in K. Mannheim. In particular it will concentrate on the role played by inter-religious dialogue in a context of growing cultural pluralism in Europe and the Mediterranean area. The course will put forward suggestions as to how to carry out a survey on religion.
