Title of the course: Ulysses' great narration
Description of the course: The course will be centred on the reading of selected passages from the Odyssey and to the contextualitation of the work in the historical and social background for which it was produced. In particular the course aims to read a Greek text as a literary text and to consider the relevance which the tale of Ulysses has had during the centuries in the ancient and modern world.
Possible propedeutics: Students are invited to attend the course regularly. he knowledge of the Grrek Language is not required, since the texts will be read in Italian translation.
