Derived from	20702509 THE MEDIEVAL ENVIRONMENT AND LANDSCAPE in History and Societies LM-84 CACIORGNA MARIA TERESA (syllabus) Changes in settlement and rural landscape in the Middle Ages are closely related with the ways and manners communities organize their presence in the environment. Long term landscape transformations shall be examined with a diachronic approach. Particular attention shall be given to the construction of the environment and of the habitat, which is still nowadays the base of settlement.
