Stalin and the rise of the power: industrialization, collectivization of lands e the long terror. From the strange alliance with the nazis to World War II. The victory over Germany and the birth of a superpower. The death of Stalin and a new protagonist: Nikita Krusheev. The 20th Congress of the Communist Soviet Party: a new way to the soviet policy? The new challenges in foreigns policy and the problems in the economy. The definitive stabilization? Brezhnev's rise to power. The decline: from Brezhnev death to the Andropov years.
