Title of the course: An introduction to Dante: The Vita Nuova as an intellectual biography

Description of the course: An early years work, Dante's Vita nuova will be studied as an intellectual biography which is propedeutic to the Whole biographic and poetic experience of the author. Manifesto of a new literature and at the same time example novel and confession, it will turn out to be the foundamental - alaborated and fully developed - premise to understand the extraordinary trend which will arrive to the Comedy.
