(syllabus)
The aim of this course is the acquisition of a basic knowledge of the written and oral Portuguese language (the A2 level of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages ), of the tools to achieve communication in an everyday situation as well as of the skills of comprehension and written production of short texts. The second objective is to acquire the main features of the diachronic development, from Latin to Portuguese. The course includes the following modules: Module A: Morphology and syntax of the simple sentence Module B: History of the Portuguese language
