- bibliographic and archival research (traditional methods, technological resources available and online databases), reliability of the resources available on the net;
- standards in force in the art-historical studies in scientific publications (the form of publications, tools and programs available);
- use of online databases with photos of artworks;
- guidelines and tools for cataloging art and other materials relating to visual arts;
- guidelines and tools to developing images and texts in scientific standards, for exercises in learning activities in art history, seminars and conferences (posters and oral presentation support);
- guidelines and tools to developing dissemination planning tools, guidelines for museum communication;
- web editing guidelines and tools.

Objectives
The course aims at providing students with basic knowledge in the following areas: methods and standards for word processing, tools and programs for images editor and word processing in the art-historical studies for scientific publications and dissemination planning tools, cataloging art and other materials relating to visual arts.

Verranno forniti programmi, materiali e indicazioni bibliografiche di approfondimento durante il corso che si svolgerà martedì (ore 16-19) e giovedì (ore 16-18) in Aula Informatica Piccola – Via Ostiense 234 – piano terra - dal 27 febbraio 2018 (27 febbraio; 1, 6, 13, 15, 20, 22, 27 marzo; 5, 10, 12, 17, 19, 24 aprile).
