PHYSICS
(objectives)
PURPOSE OF THIS COURSE IS TO CONVINCE BIOLOGY STUDENTS THAT PHYSICS PROVIDES THE NECESSARY TOOLS FOR A COMPLETE DESCRIPTION AND UNDERSTANDING OF THE REAL WORLD AROUND US. THE MAIN GOAL IS TO PROVIDE THE BASIC RESOURCES FOR A PHYSICS “WAY OF THINKING” USEFUL NOT ONLY TO SOLVE END-OF-CHAPTER PROBLEMS BUT, AND MORE IMPORTANTLY, IN THE STUDENT’S FUTURE PROFESSIONAL CAREER.
