PROTEINS AND SYSTEMS BIOCHEMISTRY
(objectives)
THE AIM OF THE PROTEINS AND SYSTEMS BIOCHEMISTRY COURSE IS THAT OF PROVIDING TO THE STUDENT THE BASIC CONCEPTS RELATED TO THE STRUCTURE-FUNCTION RELATIONSHIPS IN PROTEINS AND MACROMOLECULAR ASSEMBLIES IN THE CONTEXT OF BIOLOGICAL SYSTEMS. AT THE END OF THE COURSE THE STUDENTS SHOULD BE ABLE TO UNDERSTAND AND APPRECIATE THE CONTENT OF SCIENTIFIC PUBLICATIONS RELATED TO THE STRUCTURE-FUNCTION RELATIONSHIPS IN PROTEINS.
