BRIEF COURSE OVERVIEW Psychological/emotional suffering. Functional and dysfunctional emotions. Introduction to Clinical Psychology. The main mental disorders according to DSM-5. An integrated model of etiopathology: the diathesis-stress paradigm. Definition of stress, its causes, prevention, options of intervention. Time management. Third-wave protocols for stress management: the Mindfulness-based stress reduction program-MBSR.

ERASMUS students are expected to undertake the same workload as local students, and to study on the same three textbooks, although they may choose to take the exam either in Italian, English or Spanish.
