(syllabus)
The course will deal with the development of the ancient Christian literature from the origin to the fifth century. Special attention will be paid to the relationships of the Christian literature with the Judaic tradition, the Bible and the contemporary classical literatures.

Student which attend lectures will study anthology of texts (bacheca docente)
Students which non attend lectures will study three books of the Augustine's Confessiones and the Mohrmann's intoductory study to Confessiones in BUR edition.
