(syllabus)
The class offers a brief overview of the theoretical concepts of social psychology applied to group processes. Theoretical and methodological notions as well as the study of group processes will be examined. Among the main arguments: - The study of the groups in social psychology perspective. - Roles, rules, status and functions in the groups. - The group dynamics phenomena. - Power and leadership. - The interaction into groups and between social groups. - Inter-group relations and social categorization. - Communication and social influence processes in groups. - Verbal and non-verbal communication.
