YEARS 2016-2017 –SUBJECT SERSSL39 TRAINEESHIP 1: PROGRAM the integration of theory knowledge and the practical ability in the training of a social assistant are realized in the professional traineeship, prescribed from D.M. 142/98 and 509/99 from DM.
The degree SERSSL-39 of Roma 3 University, consist on a traineeship at 2nd year for a total length of 225 hours of external activities, to perform under the supervision of a social assistant who works in a public or private service, but with an agreement with the university itself.
The activities of the traineeship are supported by a tutor whom helps the student with suggestions and reflections on the experience itself, to teach methods and techniques of social service.
During the talks and the lectures, the operative reality and the territorial distribution of the services who gave the availability to host trainees, will be showed to the students.
DIDACTIC TARGETS
The target to reach in 54 hours are the following:
- let the student thinks on his own motivations and expectations on his university choices and on his professional future. - Let grow the student's capacity to reflect on the relations dynamics, with other social operators, users, and with all the others relations that he could start during the progress of the social service where it is inserted. Then share his worries, doubts, and expectations on his experience - consolidate the capacity of the student to work in team and to learn through the group exercitations
- promote the connection between theory and practice and stimulate in the students an exploratory approach with curiosity and interest in the profession and in the social ambit
- encourage the comparison, the sharing and the discussions of situations and events in common verified during the practical experience of the students
- make the student aware of the opportunity that the learning process of the traineeship can give him, even with his difficulties.
OPERATIONAL ASPETCTS
At half of the traineeship the student should compile a schedule with his supervisor to measure the grade of learning, the difficulty who has found and other information about the traineeship
